Dang, ours was nice, but it was nowhere near that exciting! Though Amelia, there was a picture of you in the slideshow. Everyone got really excited when they saw it. Your presence is missed. :)
I can't quit laughing! My gosh, that was a total riot. Our Birthday celebration last night, didn't hold a candle to that! And I thought it was strange when Steven Van Zandt came wandering into the cultural hall in the middle of a lady giving a formal talk, asking me for a food order! He was in his usual grubby attire and scary hobo look! There were only ladies seated at these amazingly decorated tables in black and white with tall elegant vases surrounded beautifully with netting and bows and then two perfect long stemmed silk flowers, one black and one white, in each vase, in the middle of each table. Each table had a black or white old fashioned hat for the finishing touch. The theme was My Fair Lady.
Oh my gosh--would my ladies have freaked or what with that musical number!! You guys are awesome to put a video on your blog--it wouldn't mean half what it does without the incredible SOUNDS!!
That is awesome!! I didn't know that hymn had that kind of beat to it but I love it! When my parents served in Nigeria they said it took them a long time to get used to the way they sang, so now I understand a little better what they meant.

ReplyDeleteAwesome version of the Spirit of God. That's one of the best dances I've ever seen to that hymn.
